Color purple

    On yesterday we started reading The Color Purple. The novel opened up with Celia telling the life changing event she went through. My reaction to it was unexplainable but I can’t wait too get more deeper in the novel .

Poem and quiz day

Today we took a multiple choice quiz. I did well on it I felt as if it wasn’t difficult. After we took it and went over the correct answers in class it opened my eyes up a little more about process of elimination. I used process of elimination and it helped a lot. After we took a quiz we read a poem. The poem wasn’t hard but it was some lines I didn’t understand. As we analyzed it I understood it more. All in all I’m was a productive day in AP literature.

First Quarter

First quarter in AP English was very interesting. I loved that we had classroom discussions. I really learned a lot about writing on an AP level. I also learned how to analyze literature. I loved reading and analyzing poems as a class. I would’ve liked to practice on writing more as a class. I would love to improve on writing on an AP level and having an AP level mindset.

Memorized By Nature

      Last year my family and I took a vacation to Florida and we went to the beach. We arrived at the beach around 11:00am and stayed to about 8:00pm. I was amazed at the view of the waves and the birds around me. The waves crashing onto the shore was astounding. Around 6:00pm the sun started to set along the coast. That was a very beautiful view and experience for me. I would never forget how the ocean looked that day. My family and I had an outstanding time walking and conversing on the beach. We also explored different types of shells and animals. My family and I was memorized by nature.
