Understanding Themes and writing concepts

Today we were placed in groups so that we could do an activity on the novel “The Color Purple”. The activity was to write down themes, evidence, and claims portraying to the topic. This activity was actually helpful because it breaks down the themes and topics of the novel. It also helped because each one of us had to view others opinions and think outside of the box. It made me think deeper into the novel to find out more themes and evidences. This activity was fun. I enjoyed doing it. Tomorrow we take our EQT hopefully I pass it.

Poem and quiz day

Today we took a multiple choice quiz. I did well on it I felt as if it wasn’t difficult. After we took it and went over the correct answers in class it opened my eyes up a little more about process of elimination. I used process of elimination and it helped a lot. After we took a quiz we read a poem. The poem wasn’t hard but it was some lines I didn’t understand. As we analyzed it I understood it more. All in all I’m was a productive day in AP literature.

A New Class At B.C.Rain

Fashion Class                      There should be new classes at B.C.Rain where they are able to be creative and have fun in. B.C.Rain should have a fashion class/club. Having this class gives students new ways and opportunities to express themselves. Students will learn how to make and design their own clothes. They will also be able to be creative by making their own brand for the clothes that they have created. While I am at school I walk around and notice that students who are in art class or maybe not in art class are drawing clothes and people with their clothes on that they had made up. Therefore, having a fashion class will help the students drawings come to life. They will be able to get feed back from their peers as well as adults.
